THE MUSEUMS WHICH WILL OPEN IN 2017
This post is devoted to travellers, but especially to those who always search for new places which can offer also an interesting cultural experience.
2017 will be characterised by inaugurations all over the world, and I’ve decided to make a list of the most important museums which will open next months.
All you have to do is choose a destination and leave.
The most longed-for museums of 2017
The Louvre Abu Dhabi.
The long-awaited new branch of the Louvre Museum of Paris will open in Abu Dhabi.
The building has already made the history of architecture, because it seems that it rises from the water, and is poised between sand and sea. This space will house a part of the collections of the Parisian museum.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is part of a larger project which will transform this arid land into a cultural district which can live up to the greatest European museums. Also the opening of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is expected in the future.

The Yves Saint Laurent museums in Paris and in Marrakech.
Two new museums to celebrate the most famous fashion designer in history, who left an indelible mark in the style of the 20th century.
The Design Society in Shenzhen, China.
It’s a branch of the Victoria and Albert Museum of London, but is dedicated to design from the 20th century up to nowadays.

The Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town.
This will be Africa’s first major museum. The most important art collection of the museum is Joachen Zeitz’s art collection, who is a German philanthropist and businessman (and ex CEO of Puma) after whom the museum is named.
The entire Africa’s history and culture will be housed inside a historic grain silo.
The Museum MACAN in Jakarta.
Starting from 2017 Indonesia will be not only a destination for tourists searching for uncontaminated landscapes, but it will become also a destination for culture and art lovers. This museum will be devoted to modern art, and it will house Haryanto Adikoesoemo’s art collection, Indonesian benefactor.
