MONET IN ROME
Every year an exhibition dedicated to Monet is arranged, but the one which is about to arrive in Rome on October 19that the Complesso del Vittoriano in Rome promises to be different from the others.
On view about 60 works painted by the father of Impressionism, coming from the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris, which are a journey into his life and artistic career.

From Monet’s early works, the famous caricatures of the late 1850s, through the rural and urban landscapes of London, Paris, Vétheuil, Pourville, to the portraits of his children, to the canvases dedicated to flowers of his garden up to the amazing modernity of the weeping willows, of the rose boulevard or the Japanese bridge to get to the monumental Water lilies and Wisterias.
