CURATORS, THEME AND DATES OF THE BIENNALE ARCHITETTURA 2018 (UPDATE 27 NOVEMBER 2017)

The two curators of the Biennale Architettura 2018 have already shown their creativity with the projects of their firm Grafton Architects in Dublin, with which in 2008 they designed and built the multi-awarded project of the new building for Bocconi University in Milan. Now they arrive in Venice to make architecture talk to everybody and to prove that architecture is able to adapt to nature and man in order to create spaces where everybody can feel comfortable and where elements such as sunlight, moonlight, gravity, and materials bring benefits to the human beings of any culture and social condition.

The title is “Freespace” and is an invitation the curators send to all national Pavilions to provide a free space, with proposals for an architecture able to adapt to people’s life, but also to place and period of history with which it has to interact.

The Biennale Architettura 2018 will take place in Venice from May 26th to November 25th 2018.
