RIJKSMUSEUM TICKETS: WHERE TO BUY THEM

The Rijksmuseum is the most important museum in Amsterdam and it is essential to book tickets to skip the line at the entrance and also to take advantage of the guided tour service.
It is also possible to combine some tours that take place in the city, such as the Amsterdam canal cruise, to visit the Rijksmuseum.

Tickets to see the Rijksmuseum can be purchased in 4 ways:

1 – at the museum ticket office, but the line at the entrance can be very long.
If you decide to arrive at the Museum without a reservation you will need to be patient.

2 – on line, through the site that allows you to book tickets, choosing the day and time of entry, allowing you to skip the line at the entrance.

3 – Combining the entrance to the museum with a cruise on the canals of Amsterdam. The tour lasts a total of 3 hours and allows you to discover the city through its works of art and observing its historic buildings from the canals that were the fundamental element of the city.

4 – By booking a guided tour, choosing among the many proposals available and allowing you, in some cases, even to combine a visit to other museums in Amsterdam or to make original experiences.

HOW TO GET TO THE RIJKSMUSEUM

By car: from Amsterdam Ringweg (circular freeway around Amsterdam city), A10 motorway, exit: S109

By metro: fromAmstel station to Weesperplein, then tram lines 7 or 10 (get off at the Spiegelgracht tram stop).

By tram: from central station lines 2 and 5 (get off at the Rijksmuseum stop); from Zuid station line 5 (get off at the Rijksmuseum stop); from Sloterdijk station, line 12 (get off at the Concertgebouw stop).
