Banksy and the Street Art on exhibition in Bologna

Street Art in Bologna. When someone talks about Street Art, we soon think about a group of artists who, since the latest 1960s have used the streets to create innovative works of art; but thanks to the web have soon become representative of historic period we live in.

Maybe in 100 years in art history books Bansky, Dado and Rusty will be mentioned as members of an artistic genre developed from the end of the 20^th century to the beginning of the 21^st century, called Street Art.

An exhibition dedicated to Street Art will be on show at Palazzo Pepoli in Bologna from March 18^th to June 26^th 2016. And a controversy has soon broken out.

Frida’s passion. The photographic exhibition entitled Frida’s passion (until March 20^th2016) shows about 20 photos of Frida Kahlo taken by the Colombian photographer Leo Matiz, one of the most important photographer in the 20^th century. He met Frida in Mexico City in 1940s, when the Country was going through revolutions and wars, but also through joy and hope.

Boccioni in Milan. A hundred years after the death of Umberto Boccioni, Milan celebrates the great artist with an exhibition devoted to his artistic path and his esteemed international reputation.

The exhibition Umberto Boccioni (1882-1916): genius and memory will be on view at the Palazzo Reale (the Royal Palace) from March 23^rd to July 3^rd 2016 and will feature 250 works, comprising drawings, paintings, sculptures, engravings, period photographs, books, magazines and documents.
