SABBIONETA: THE IDEAL RENAISSANCE CITY

Sabbioneta. When I wrote my post about my journey to Mantua I had so many things to tell you that I didn’t touch upon Sabbioneta.

The Musée Besançon

Musée de Besançon. Some time ago I wrote about the arrival in Venice of the work which is probably the last painting by Giovanni Bellini, on exhibition on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of the artist.
I had the chance to discover a museum I didn’t know, and I have been waiting for its reopening to the public since 2015, because the Musée de Besançon is closed for restoration and it will be closed until 2018.

Rolli in Genoa. Genoa is a regal city overlooking the sea, and you can get lost in its narrow alleys.
Genoa is a city made up of history and spectacular Palazzi (Palaces), and some of them were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2006.

These palaces are the Rolli.
