EXHIBITIONS MART ROVERETO. ALL THE EVENTS FROM DIVISIONISM TO FUTURISM.

Exhibitions Mart Rovereto. 2016 in Trentino Alto-Adige is characterized by a series of cultural events which, until the end of the year, will describe the historical period in which modern painting in Italy was born.
In Rovereto, from the Mart Museum to the Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero, next months will be devoted to the Italian masters who lived between the late 19^th century and the early 20^th century, and who transformed art through Divisionism before and Futurism later.

The exhibition “I pittori della luce. Dal Divisionismo al Futurismo” (“Painters of light. From Divisionism to Futurism”) will be the most important event, but also the first leg of a narrative that will continue next winter with the exhibition dedicated to Boccioni, which will arrive directly from the Palazzo Reale (the Royal Palace) in Milan, and which I attended in advance, in order to talk about it in my blog.

In my post I will talk about the exhibitions that have been already planned, and, in addition, there will be a gift for you: you may spend three days in Trentino discovering contemporary art at the Mart Museum.

BLOGGER FACES: MY FACE ON EXHIBITION

Blogger Faces. At the beginning of my adventure as a blogger, Tiziano M. Todi, gallerist of the Galleria Vittoria in Rome, sent me an e-mail and suggested that I should become the subject of a photo shoot by Elena Datrino, who was creating a collection of portraits of some Italian bloggers in order to arrange an exhibition.

I had never been in a photographic studio, and I had never had an aptitude for being the centre of attention, but, because I’m a curious person, I relaxed and I decided to be a model and a fashion blogger for a day.
The result?

I joined in two photo shoots; I entered a catalogue; I involved other art bloggers in this adventure, my photos of my social profile are taken by Elena Datrino, and I participated in the first exhibition of Blogger Faces, and in the following ones, including the next edition that will take place in the province of Turin.

PHOTOGRAPHS BY HELMUT NEWTON: AN EXHIBITION IN VENICE

Photographs by Helmut Newton. From April 7^th to August 7^th 2016, the exhibition “Photographs by Helmut Newton” will show, for the first time in Venice, over 200 photos by Helmut Newton, one of the most important and celebrated photographers in the 20^th century.

The exhibition is the result of a project, launched in 2011 by June Newton, the widow of the great photographer, and features images taken from White Women, Sleepless Nights, and Big Nudes, the first three books published and edited by the author himself in the late 1970s.

Zandomeneghi exhibition in Padua. Zandomeneghi was a painter who lived an adventurous life and developed a restless artistic creativity.
He was the protagonist of an extraordinary season of the Italian painting in the 19^th century.

Palazzo Zabarella in Padua will host a great retrospective exhibition dedicated to Federico Zandomeneghi, which will be on view from September 10^th to December 11^th 2016.
On display 100 paintings in order to reconstruct the artistic career of the painter who, between the 19^th century and the 20^th century, celebrated women.

His photos are on display in Genoa at the Doge’s Palace. The exhibition emphasizes the need to protect our planet, to change our way of life, to respect the nature and the environment surrounding us, in order to achieve a new harmony.
