Let’s go! Here are my tips on what to see and where to go for a superfast holiday in London.
London in one day
LONDON IN ONE DAY: KENSINGTON PALACE
Kensington Palace has been the residence of the English Royal family for more than three centuries.
Here live William and Kate, but you obviously won’t see them; however, you can imagine them walking along the reception rooms and the gardens of the palace.
It was Queen Victory who opened the residence to the public in 1899, to make the English Crown closer to its people, and you’ll feel like you’re close to the Queen and Princes when you enter this place.
LONDON IN ONE DAY: TOUR OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PLACES AND MONUMENTS
In only 2 hours you can visit London’s most important places and monuments.
All you have to do is participate in the top 15 sites Walking Tour which will make you discover the London Bridge, the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge and the Globe Theatre, too.
With the help of an expert tour guide you will discover London in little time, and with the certainty of not missing the most important places, finding out curious facts you couldn’t know by yourself.
The last stop of the tour is Tate Modern Art Gallery, and a famous boxing club called The Ring, where rules of modern boxing were established.
LONDON IN ONE DAY: BOAT TOUR
A boat tour along the Thames is probably the easiest and most original way to see London.
From the river the city shows in a new way and you will admire the palaces and the corners you miss when visit it on foot.
There are many available tours and are often combined with museum admission tickets or include a tour guide who will explain you curious facts about the buildings overlooking the Thames.
