The importance and role of women in the history of Italian art, from the Renaissance to the Belle Époque. This is the central theme of an exhibition that presents more than 90 masterpieces by very important artists such as Tiziano, Guercino, Pitocchetto, Hayez, De Nittis, Boldini and others who have described, with their works, the nuances of the female universe.

For the first time in Italy, a solo exhibition by the Kurdish artist and journalist Zehra Doğan (Diyarbakir, Turkey, 1989), founder of the Kurdish feminist journalist agency Jinha.
After the great success of the performance organized at the Tate Modern in London, the city where Zehra Doğan has temporarily chosen to live his exile, the artist is now the protagonist of a great exhibition in Brescia, on the occasion of his participation in the Peace Festival , organized by the Municipality of Brescia and the Province of Brescia.
