ETCHINGS BY ARTIST LORENZO VALE

Lorenzo Vale makes etchings, preferring the technique of etching, to create works with suggestive chiaroscuro effects.
Thanks to the lack of colour, the artist focuses on the expressive possibilities of the sign and can thus describe dark and mysterious atmospheres.

Over 40 graphic works by Lorenzo Vale will be on show at the Stamperia d’arte Albicocco in Udine from 17 December 2021 to 28 February 2022 in the solo exhibition entitled “In your eyes. Prints 2010 – 2021”.

In this post you’ll discover the only masterpiece by Caravaggio that Napoleon confiscated in Rome and that tried, unsuccessfully, to bring to Paris forever.
