Many people ask me what to see in Veneto, because it is a region full of history, art and museums and often those who visit it for the first time don’t know exactly whether they had better focus on Venice and its museums (the Basilica of St. Mark and the Doge’s Palace first!) or visit the Palladian Villas.

WHEN ADVERTISMENT IS ART: FEDERICO SENECA’S CAREER AND INVENTIONS

Advertisement has always been art.
From advertising posters painted by Toulouse-Lautrec to promote Parisian shows in the late 19^th century to modern commercials, advertisement has always drawn inspiration from great art masterpieces, and many artists worked as advertisers.

Among them there’s Federico Seneca, the “father of Baci Perugina”, to whom the Salce Collection National Museum in Treviso dedicates a great exhibition.
