Visiting an automobile museum is something that everybody agrees on.
Adults and children, men and women, young people and older people, everybody can find fascinating entering a museum which illustrates the history of the mean of transport which has changed people’s lifestyle in the last 150 years.
Among the automobile museums you must visit, most are in Italy, but I chose only 5 museums.

Théodore Géricault, la zattera della Medusa (1819)
The Raft of the Medusa is one of the great masterpieces painted by Théodore Géricault.
A huge painting which has become the symbols of the struggle of the weakest against privileges, describing an event that really happened and which had aroused French public opinion in the first half of the 19th century.

The Doge’s Palace in Venice is a must see for every tourist who visits the lagoon city.
The building lies next to the Basilica of St. Mark, and sums up all the history of Venice, its conquests, battles and domination over the Mediterranean Sea.
The Doge’s Palace in Venice was the residence of the Doge, and was used for the administration of justice and for political and legislative activity.
Each statue, each painting and each capital is located in this building with the specific purpose of showing the power and the wealth of Venice to the world (as I’ve already explained in the post I dedicated to the history of the Doge’s Palace).

The works by Auguste Rodin in Italy for an exhibition which will mark the end of the celebrations held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of the great French artist.
At the Museum of Santa Caterina in Treviso, which has already hosted the great exhibition on the history of Impressionism, on display around 80 works including the most important masterpieces by Auguste Rodin.
