My last post of the year is simply my wish to you all.
My 2016 was exciting because I managed to make some of my wishes come true, and I met some wonderful people, who will help me to carry out this large project I have in mind for this blog.
Among these people, of course, there are you, my dear readers.
I wish you a Happy New Year, and I hope that 2017 will live up to your expectations.

Would you like to spend your Friday evening in a different way?
On the occasion of the exhibition “Francis Bacon. Un viaggio nei mille volti dell’uomo moderno” (“Francis Bacon. A Journey Through the Thousand Faces of Modern Man”) Casa dei Carraresi in Treviso organizes every Friday the Art happy hour.
With the aim of being different from usual art exhibitions, this exhibition dedicated to Francis Bacon was arranged by Kornice in order to create an itinerary that allows you to get closer to Bacon’s way of thinking and also to everything happened in his life, making a comparison with experiences of different artists.
Christmas movies. Christmas has just passed, we wished each other Merry Christmas, we ate (a lot!), and now we’re waiting for New Year’s Eve.
These are my favourite days of the year, and I usually sleep more, and all I want to do is stay at home relaxing and watching old and new movies.
I usually watch movies recently released which I haven’t seen yet; but there are some films (always the same!) that in my opinion give a strong sense of Christmas.

But, if at a certain point you fed up with your relatives, Christmas lunches and dinners, remember that there’s always a museum, a square, a painting and a sculpture waiting for you to be discovered.

Rome still boasts a lot of marvels waiting to be discovered not only by archaeologists but especially by visitors and citizens, so that they can understand the real wealth and the elegance of this city.
If you have the chance to spend some days in Rome at Christmas, go and visit one of the several exhibitions on show in the city (I published the list of the most interesting exhibitions in Rome to help you to choose), but don’t miss the chance to visit Ancient Rome: the Circus Maximus and the Imperial Fora.
