A woman whose story is suspended between truth and legend, and portrayed in several works of art.
Thanks to her, the Roman people found the strength to stage a rebellion against the monarchy ruled by the Family of Tarquin and to establish the Roman Republic.

Ai Weiwei and the Palazzo Strozzi. 22 orange rubber boats anchored to the Palazzo Strozzi’s windows in Florence which will disgust art lovers, who want to see art always inside a museum.

The first Italian retrospective dedicated to the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, dissident and persecuted by the government of Beijing for his opinions on the regime, will run at the Palazzo Strozzi, displaying old and new works by the artist, including “Reframe” created with rubber boats used by migrants crossing the Mediterranean Sea.

MY VISIT TO THE EXHIBITION “THE NABIS, GAUGUIN AND THE ITALIAN AVANT-GARDE PAINTING”

This hot autumn with its sunny days makes everything more beautiful and makes you feel you are still on holiday.
Rovigo doesn’t escape from this magical atmosphere and the exhibition “I Nabis, Gauguin e la pittura italiana d’avanguardia” (“The Nabis, Gauguin and the Italian avant-garde painting”) on view at Palazzo Rovarella is the right occasion for you to plunge into a journey made up of colours and emotions.

Intense colours, total absence of details, an explosion of violent emotions, simplicity.
The exhibition “I Nabis, Gauguin e la pittura italiana d’avanguardia” (“The Nabis, Gauguin and the Italian avant-garde painting”) is all this.
