WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR

Looking at pictures of uncontaminated landscapes and animals living in spectacular natural environments has a strong impact on me.
They’re powerful images, and some of these memorable pictures will be exhibited from October 1st to December 4th 2016 in Milan in the exhibition Wildlife Photographer of the Year, the annual wildlife photography competition owned by the Natural History Museum in London, which is in its 51st year.

42,000 shots taken by professional and amateur photographers, coming from 96 countries, chosen by an international jury of photography experts for their creativity, artistic quality and technical complexity.

The cultural association Radicediunopercento will bring to Italy the award-winning images, and will arrange an exhibition that is a journey in pictures through the marvels of our planet.
From uncontaminated landscapes, to the animal kingdom to the botanical kingdom, the photographers captured marvels of nature from a touching point of view, aware of its extraordinary variety that needs to be protected.

The exhibition will be hosted by the Fondazione Luciana Matalon, located in Foro Bonaparte 67, Milan, near the Sforza Castle, and will present the award-winning images of the 20 categories of the competition, starting with the first prize winner, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
